In Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire, Schell Games (known for the fantastic I Expect You To Die games) invites players into a world of eerie silence and heart-pounding tension, where the stakes are quite literally life and death. This VR horror-puzzle game casts you as a vampire slayer on a mission to eliminate ancient monsters in their sleep. Obviously, considering their nature, this is not going to be easy, and doing your job will require a mix of stealth, precision, and a cool head under pressure. We tried it out on the Meta Quest. Chornobyl Liquidators review (PC)
The Chernobyl disaster that happened on April 26, 1986 continues to fascinate us, but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 isn’t the only game coming out this year that focuses on it. Chornobyl Liquidators by Live Motion Games aims to place players into the shoes of the unsung heroes who battled the invisible and deadly enemy of radiation as the disaster unfolded, making for an interesting premise. But despite its noble intentions and gripping atmosphere, the game struggles to deliver a cohesive and engaging experience over the course of its relatively short runtime. Braid, Anniversary Edition review (PS5)
Braid, Anniversary Edition brings back Jonathan Blow’s critically acclaimed puzzle-platformer, now enhanced for modern consoles by Thekla, Inc. with new content to enjoy. The PlayStation 5 version we’re reviewing promises improved visuals and added features, aiming to recapture the magic of the original while appealing to a new generation of gamers.
