The narrative introduces new characters and rivals, adding depth and freshness to the series instead of merely leaning on old favorites. Each level has been well designed with little in terms of filler, providing a good balance of fun and challenge that encourages players to refine their skills.
Banana Rumble’s multiplayer modes deserve a special mention too, as they allow up to 16 players to compete online in various modes. The split-screen local multiplayer option is perfect for party settings, ensuring that the game becomes a social affair. The inclusion of items like bats, rockets, and black holes introduces a chaotic yet entertaining twist, and we had fun with the local multiplayer mode.

However, this feature could have been better integrated into the game, as level designs are good but make relatively little use of this.
