Developer interview: Go-Go Town!

Imagine stepping into a town where you’re not just the mayor – you’re also the builder, decorator, farmer, delivery driver, and occasional chaos manager. The Talos Principle: Reawakened review (PS5)

Revisiting a beloved classic can be a risky move, but The Talos Principle: Reawakened makes a strong case for why it was worth the effort – going above and beyond the typical remaster treatment. Developed by Croteam and published by Devolver Digital, this PlayStation 5 version of the philosophical puzzler gives the original experience a modern facelift while adding some meaningful extras for both newcomers and long-time fans. Built in Unreal Engine 5 and bundling in both the original expansion, Road to Gehenna, and a new narrative prologue titled In the Beginning, Reawakened doesn’t just celebrate what made the original special – it reframes it in a more cohesive and technically polished package. Commandos: Origins review (PS5)

After years of silence from the Commandos franchise, Commandos: Origins arrives as both a reboot and a prequel to the acclaimed series, aiming to reintroduce it to a new generation while offering veterans a nostalgic look at the origins of its elite World War II squad with a fresh coat of paint. Developed by Claymore Game Studios and published by Kalypso Media, the game explores how Jack O’Hara (also known as the Green Beret) and his five companions first came together, setting the stage for the high-stakes sabotage and infiltration missions the series is known for. The story structure provides light context for the missions rather than a deeply cinematic narrative, but the historical setting and character interplay give it just enough identity to tie the campaign together. AI LIMIT review (PS5)

AI Limit arrives on PlayStation 5 as an intriguing, impressive but somewhat uneven addition to the ever-expanding Soulslike landscape. Developed by Sense Games and published by CE-Asia, the game presents a dystopian world of collapsing ecosystems, biomechanical horrors, and remnants of a lost civilization – framing its post-apocalyptic setting around the Bladers, which are synthetic warriors with the power to defy death. Thematically rich and ambitious in scope, AI Limit introduces a narrative that holds more potential than many Soulslike games, but stumbles in delivering emotional depth and clarity along the way.
