CLAWPUNK, developed by Kittens in Timespace and published by Megabit Publishing, throws you headfirst into a feral, neon-drenched dystopia where nine cat warriors crash through a crumbling cyberpunk city with claws, guns, and pure rage. The premise is straightforward – rise up against a corrupt corporation – but the game’s true heart is its chaotic, push-forward action. Continue reading “CLAWPUNK review (PS5)”

GIGASWORD review (PS5)
The PlayStation 5 edition of GIGASWORD stakes its claim on a single mechanical conceit that intrigues: the sword is not just for combat, it is the game. That conceit gives Ezra’s climb of the Nestrium an immediate identity, because the blade’s mass is woven into exploration, puzzle solving and fight rhythm. The opening premise – humans desperate for the God Crystal Gnosis, a tower raid gone wrong, and an awakening that threatens reality – provides a suitably operatic backdrop without ever overwhelming the core loop; the narrative provides motive and occasional sombre texture while the sword remains the game’s central language. Dark Atlas: Infernum review (PS5)
From the very first moments of Dark Atlas: Infernum, a sense of disorientation settles in. You assume the role of Natalia Asensio, Grand Master of an ancient esoteric order, now drugged, trapped in a crumbling basement, and thrust into a spiralling descent of memory, ritual and collapsing reality. Framed within the larger Radiata Saga trans-universe, the game embraces psychological survival horror rather than straightforward action. The premise evokes a haunting inner-journey: stop the apocalypse while you’re not even sure who you are. The developer-publisher pairing of Night Council Studio and Selecta Play sets accordingly a tone of ambition – but the results are mixed based on the PS5 version we played. Pigeon Simulator review (Xbox)
Pigeon Simulator sits squarely in the realm of mischievous, low-stakes mayhem: you are a government pigeon tasked with containing supernatural oddities across a stylised New Squawk City. The premise sells itself on absurdity and the game obliges by leaning fully into the bird-agent conceit with goofy tools, target quotas, and a brisk mission template that give it an identity that’s immediately clear and consistently playful. The narrative framing is intentionally thin; it exists to justify the antics rather than to support a dramatic arc, which keeps the tone light but leaves players seeking any kind of proper storytelling wanting more.
