In the universe of the acclaimed SteamWorld games, each installment seems to mark a new genre shift. SteamWorld Build emerges as another interesting addition to the series, offering a fresh take on the popular city-builder genre. Developed by The Station and published by Thunderful, it offers a mix of city-building and underground exploration, set against the backdrop of a dying world and the quest for ancient technology. Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord review (PS5)

When Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord was announced for the Meta Quest, the VR community instantly thought “that could make for a really cool experience!”. Now, this new title from Sony Pictures Virtual Reality is finally out, and it was developed by the seasoned VR experts at nDreams. Astral Ascent review (PS5)

At the tail end of 2023, we’re diving into the world of Astral Ascent, a 2D platformer rogue-lite developed by Hibernian Workshop that’s one of the best indies of this year. Set in the mystical realm of The Garden, players take on the role of one of four distinctive heroes, each armed with their own abilities and weaponry, aiming to escape the clutches of an astral prison guarded by formidable Zodiac bosses.
