Fort Solis review (PS5)
In the ever-evolving landscape of interactive storytelling, Fort Solis caught our attention as an ambitious addition to the genre of story-driven cinematic-style adventures. Developed collaboratively by Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar Games and published by Dear Villagers, it brings together a star-studded cast, led by the veteran performances of Roger Clark and Troy Baker, to weave a narrative-driven sci-fi thriller with some great production values. The game, set against the atmospheric backdrop of a remote Martian mining base, marries immersive storytelling with high-fidelity visuals, but it’s not without its share of rough edges. En Garde! review (PC)
En Garde! from Fireplace Games is a debut title for the developer that brings swashbuckling swordplay to players in an engaging and entertaining way. Set against a backdrop of nicely realized locations and charismatic characters, this action-packed adventure introduces Adalia de Volador, a legendary swashbuckler and dashing adventurer, on her journey to challenge the oppressive Count-Duke and bring down his tyranny-filled reign with a sense of flair of her own.
