American Arcadia review (PS5)

American Arcadia makes its console debut on PlayStation 5 after originally launching on PC in 2023, and it brings with it a unique blend of cinematic storytelling, engaging dual-perspective gameplay, and a retro-futuristic aesthetic that immediately sets it apart. Developed by Out of the Blue Games and published by Raw Fury, the game cleverly merges 2.5D platforming with first-person puzzling, all wrapped inside a stylish dystopian satire inspired by reality television and 70s sci-fi with a hint of The Truman Show thrown in for good measure. The Midnight Walk review (PSVR2)

The Midnight Walk is a dark fantasy adventure game developed by MoonHood and published by Fast Travel Games. In this first-person adventure, players assume the role of “The Burnt One,” navigating a world engulfed in darkness alongside a companion named Potboy. Dune: Prophecy review (4k)

Although the Dune universe has seen a massive resurgence on the big screen, Dune: Prophecy takes a different route by delving into its ancient origins, centuries before Paul Atreides’ story begins. This prequel series, now available on 4K UHD courtesy of Warner Bros, focuses on the Harkonnen sisters – Tula and Valya – as they shape the early foundations of the Bene Gesserit. With an atmosphere drenched in mysticism, politics, and the tension of rising factions, the show leans heavily into drama and intrigue rather than epic warfare, offering a more intimate look at a still-forming Imperium. Wings of Endless review (PS5)

There’s something charming about indie platformers that dare to blend action RPG elements with a nostalgic pixel art presentation. Wings of Endless, developed by Isoca Games and published by JanduSoft, fits right into that space. It introduces players to Hariku, a self-assured bounty hunter whose latest mission leads him on an unexpectedly large-scale journey to uncover the truth behind a forgotten war. Accompanied by his talking owl companion, Owly, and later joined by a roster of allies, Hariku’s journey unfolds across a surprisingly expansive world. While the game never quite reaches the depth or polish of the genre’s top-tier entries, it’s clear that Wings of Endless was crafted with affection for classic platformers and narrative-driven adventures.
