Fata Deum – The God Sim review (PC)

Aerosoft is best known for its catalogue of simulation titles, ranging from truck driving to urban management, so seeing them publish Fata Deum – The God Sim feels like a surprising departure. Developed by 42 Bits Entertainment, the game taps into a genre that once thrived with classics like Black & White but has been largely dormant for the past two decades. It’s an attempt to rekindle the spirit of being an omnipotent entity while giving players the freedom to rule with benevolence, cruelty, or somewhere in between – and it’s out now in Early Access. 40 Sports Games in 1 review (Switch)

Breakfirst Games has returned to their compilation concept with 40 Sports Games in 1, published by Maximum Entertainment for the Nintendo Switch. Building on the earlier 34 Sports Games in 1, this new version promises more variety, more content, and a wider scope of challenges. At first glance, it resembles the Olympic-style multi-event packages of old, offering everything from football and volleyball to archery, golf, and even some more unusual options. Together, they showcase the eclectic variety of recent PS5 arrivals, each carrying over both the strengths and quirks of their original releases. Everybody’s Golf – Hot Shots review (PS5)

Everybody’s Golf has always walked the fine line between being a laid-back party game and a golf title with enough bite to keep fans of the sport engaged. With Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots on PlayStation 5, Bandai Namco and developer HYDE revive the series with its familiar three-click swing system, colorful characters, and cheerful atmosphere. It’s a formula that immediately feels accessible to newcomers while offering just enough precision to reward skilled timing. That combination remains the franchise’s biggest strength, even if this latest entry doesn’t quite modernize every aspect of its design. Continue reading “Everybody’s Golf – Hot Shots review (PS5)”

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite review (PS5)

Firefighting isn’t a theme that often finds its way into video games, but with Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, weltenbauer. and publisher astragon set out to capture the unique tension and teamwork of battling real emergencies. On PlayStation 5, the game offers a simulation that is at once authentic and ambitious, with dynamic fires and a wide range of tools to master. While it’s a strong step forward for the niche, its technical and design choices don’t always make for a smooth ride, even if the end result is a positive one.
