Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny doesn’t just know this – it thrives on it. Developed by Petit Fabrik and Fair Play Labs, this crossover action-RPG throws a bunch of Nickelodeon icons into a fantasy blender and hits the “mash” button. Final Destination: Bloodlines review (4K)
Final Destination: Bloodlines marks the long-running horror franchise’s return after more than a decade, and while it doesn’t overhaul the formula, it does attempt to weave a fresh thread into the established mythology. The story introduces a new group of characters whose lives become entangled when one of them has a premonition of a horrific accident, narrowly saving them from an early demise. Of course, as fans of the series know all too well, fate has a way of balancing the scales, and the survivors soon find themselves stalked by death itself. Lost Soul Aside review (PS5)
Some games arrive with so much baggage that they’re practically judged before they even land. Lost Soul Aside has had years of buildup, shifting expectations, and plenty of debate around whether Ultizero Games could pull off a big, flashy action RPG under the PlayStation Publishing banner. Now that it’s here on PlayStation 5, the result is… complicated. There’s a lot to admire, but also moments that feel uneven.
