In the ever-expanding realm of creature collecting games, Adore steps in with a fresh approach that combines action-packed combat, dungeon-crawling mechanics, and a vibrant fantasy world. Developed by Cadabra Games in partnership with QUByte Interactive, Adore for the PlayStation 5 (it’s also out on other platforms) offers a unique blend of gameplay elements that sets it apart from the conventional formula. In the smoky aftermath of nuclear devastation, the streets of New York City have descended into chaos. Gangs reign supreme, and it’s up to the Lee brothers, along with some unlikely allies, to restore order in Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons. Developed by Secret Base and published by Modus Games, this revival of the classic beat ’em up franchise breathes new life into the genre with innovative roguelite elements. Remnant II review (PS5)

When it comes to sequels, some manage to surpass expectations and carve their own path, while others fall short of the mark. Remnant II, the successor to the pleasantly surprising Remnant: From the Ashes, introduces new mechanics and deeper systems while building firmly on the first game’s foundations. Developed by Gunfire Games and published by Gearbox Publishing, Remnant II exhibits a commendable dedication to delivering a randomized, procedurally generated experience, all set against the backdrop of a world overrun by deadly creatures.
