Blade Runner RPG – Asset Pack/Solo Mode & Replicant Rebellion review

Few tabletop RPGs capture the atmosphere of their source material as convincingly as Free League’s Blade Runner RPG, and these two latest expansions broaden that experience in complementary ways. Rather than simply adding more adventures, the Asset Pack & Solo Mode and Replicant Rebellion expand both the practical possibilities at the table and the thematic scope of the game itself. One focuses on immersion and accessibility through physical play aids and a surprisingly robust solo experience, while the other dares to shift the spotlight away from the familiar role of Blade Runners to explore life inside the Replicant Underground. Individually they each strengthen different aspects of the core game, but together they make Blade Runner feel like a more complete roleplaying ecosystem. The One Ring – Hobbit Tales review

Since its arrival, The One Ring has established itself as one of the most evocative tabletop roleplaying adaptations of Tolkien’s work, capturing both the grandeur and the quieter moments of Middle-earth. Hobbit Tales, published by Free League, deliberately shifts the focus away from epic struggles against the Shadow and instead invites players to spend time in the Shire itself. The result is a supplement that embraces the charm, eccentricity, and everyday adventures of hobbit life, though its appeal will inevitably depend on whether players are looking for cozy storytelling or more traditional heroic fantasy. Outgunned Adventure review

Outgunned Adventure, the first genre book in Free League’s Outgunned RPG line, trades spy thrillers and heist fantasies for the jungle-choked ruins and supernatural relics of classic adventure cinema hits. Inspired by the likes of Indiana Jones and The Mummy, it expands the action-oriented framework of the original Outgunned into a stand-alone system for quick-fire treasure-hunting campaigns (though it can also be played as an expansion). While some of its systems show signs of strain under increased narrative ambition, the result is still an exhilarating genre romp that captures the momentum and drama of its source material – making it a great crossover entry for cinema fans. Blade Runner – Case File 02: Fiery Angels review

Blade Runner – Case File 02: Fiery Angels, published by Free League Games as an expansion their Blade Runner TTRPG, dives deeper into the dystopian world of Los Angeles in 2037. This new campaign module is a follow-up to the well-received Case File 01: Electric Dreams that came with the base game. Fiery Angels brings a fresh narrative and new gameplay mechanics, as players are thrust into a web of intrigue and danger as they navigate the murky streets and neon-lit skies in search of answers.
