Darksiders is one of those franchises that went into limbo when THQ went belly-up a few years ago. The franchise has now been bought by Nordic games, but they haven’t announced any new games in the series yet. The original development studio (Vigil Games) no longer exists, and its employees have scattered across the gaming industry. Uncharted – The Nathan Drake Collection
It’s a trend that continues – some the best PS3 games keep getting the upgrade treatment and being re-released for PS4. What’s also a trend, and perhaps a troubling one for those waiting for more PS4 exclusives, is that these re-released are some of the best titles you can currently buy for the systems. We’ve seen games like Dishonored, GTA and Rayman get that treatment, but perhaps the best example so far is Sony’s own The Last of Us. The 3D Realms anthology is a wonderful look back at the early 90s PC gaming era with tons of original productions that were never released on other platforms.
