Born of Bread, a striking new RPG developed by WildArts Studio that is being published by Dear Villagers, serves up a lovely-looking adventure on all major systems, including the PlayStation 5. Embodying the peculiar heroics of Loaf, a ‘sentient bread golem’, the game unfolds in a kingdom faced with chaos caused by mischievous demons released from an archaeological dig gone awry. While the official description of the game brims with superlatives, the bulk of the game’s charm lies in its unique narrative and quirky gameplay, coupled with a great visual style. Leaving the city of Pokyo behind, players take on the role of a new farmer in the picturesque Starlet Town, where the game invites you to shape your dream farm, befriend a diverse cast of over 70 islanders, and immerse yourself in various activities, from tending crops to exploring the underwater world. Orten Was The Case review (PS5)

Sonic Green Hill Zone REALMz Wired controller review (Switch)
The REALMz line of products that PDP launched earlier this year features a number of really great holiday gift ideas, one of them being the REALMz Sonic Wired Controller for the Nintendo Switch. As with the headset we also reviewed, the controller features a tiny Sonic figurine embedded inside its case – which will make it a hit with Sonic fans even before they start playing. The REALMz series features several gamepad designs based on different IPs, but we’re checking out the Sonic variant, which features a clear shell with a multi-layered print of the iconic Green Hill Zone on the front, providing a visually stunning backdrop for the figurine that’s embedded on the bottom left side of the controller.
