“The Last of Us” Season One, a captivating TV adaptation based on the critically acclaimed video game, unfolds in a desolate world devastated by a deadly fungal infection. Set twenty years after civilization’s collapse, the series follows hardened survivor Joel (Pedro Pascal) as he reluctantly takes on the dangerous task of escorting 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of a heavily guarded quarantine zone.
