Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga review (4K)

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga takes the exhilarating post-apocalyptic world of George Miller’s Mad Max series and zooms in on one of its most intriguing characters: Furiosa. With high expectations stemming from the massive success of Mad Max: Fury Road a few years ago, this prequel delivers both in terms of action and spectacle while adding depth to Furiosa’s backstory. For fans of the series, the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release does justice to the film’s epic scale, with stunning visuals and heart-pounding audio, accompanied by a solid selection of extras. 63 Days review (PS5)

63 Days, developed by Destructive Creations, is a tactical real time stealth game set during the Warsaw Uprising of World War II. The game’s historical setting provides a powerful and significant backdrop, drawing players into a harrowing time when Poland was struggling for freedom against overwhelming Nazi forces. The narrative is framed around a band of resistance fighters who are vastly outnumbered but determined to take back their city through any means necessary. This provides an emotional and personal core to the game, highlighting both the bravery and despair of the situation. Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 review (PS5)

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, developed by Yuke’s and published by D3PUBLISHER, brings back the familiar voxel aesthetic of first World Brothers game, combining it with the signature over-the-top action the series is known for. Set on a cube-shaped Earth once again under siege by giant monsters, aliens, and other familiar foes, the game offers a more lighthearted take on the chaotic battles that have defined the Earth Defense Force (or EDF) franchise for years. Funko Fusion review (PS5)

Funko Fusion by 1010 Games brings together an eclectic mix of fan-favorite characters from across movies, TV, and video games – as do the iconic Funko Pop! collector’s items. The game promises a similar celebration of fandom, combining familiar faces from properties like Jurassic World, Back to the Future, The Umbrella Academy, and Five Nights at Freddy’s into one massive crossover. On paper, this combination of recognizable brands seems like a surefire hit with tons of licensing power, especially with its lighthearted third-person action gameplay and puzzle-solving elements.
