As Dusk Falls review (PS5)

As Dusk Falls, developed by INTERIOR/NIGHT and published by Xbox Game Studios, is part of the recent wave of former Xbox console exclusives to make it to the PS5. It invites players into a compelling and emotionally charged narrative experience that unfolds across two families’ intertwined lives over the course of three decades. Set against the backdrop of a small town in Arizona in 1998, the story kicks off with a botched robbery that sets in motion a series of events exploring themes of betrayal, sacrifice, and resilience. Manic Mechanics review

In Manic Mechanics, the latest offering from developer 4J Studios, players are thrust into the world of Octane Isle, a car-centric playground of sorts where grease monkeys reign supreme. It’s yet another game that draws clear inspiration from the beloved Overcooked series, as Manic Mechanics puts players to the test in a whirlwind of frantic co-op action, this time amidst the chaos of a repair shop rather than a bustling kitchen. Hex Gambit: Respawned review (PS5)

Hex Gambit: Respawned, developed by One Man Left Studios and published by Blowfish Studios, offers an interesting blend of classic board games in a modern video game format. Set in a vibrant and colorful world, players command a squad of minions in turn-based battles, aiming to either grab enough victory points or eliminate all enemy minions to secure a win. Playable for 1 to 4 players, Hex Gambit: Respawned is designed to be an engaging boardgame-like experience with easy-to-learn mechanics but plenty of tactical possibilities.
