Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord review (PS5)

Digital Eclipse’s remake of Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord brings an ancient classic of RPG gaming into the modern age. Almost 45 (!) years since the release of the original game, this full 3D update of one of the earliest party-based RPGs retains the core elements that made the original a trailblazer while introducing significant enhancements to appeal to contemporary players. Hauntii review (PS5)

Hauntii, published by Firestoke and developed by Moonloop Games, brings an interesting blend of exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat to all major systems. We’re reviewing it on the PlayStation 5, and this new adventure game features a naive yet courageous ghost named Hauntii – yes, we think it’s an adorable name too. Hauntii embarks on a quest to uncover the mysteries of a strange, otherworldly realm, and with its distinct art style and dynamic soundtrack, the game stands out as a unique experience, despite a few bumps along the way. Crow Country review (PS5)

Crow Country, developed by SFB Games, plunges players into a desolate somewhat creepy theme park where the line between amusement and chilling horror blurs ominously. This survival horror game invites you to explore, solve puzzles and unravel the dark mysteries hidden within its abandoned rides and attractions. We stepped into this rather haunting world on the PlayStation 5, where the game’s narrative and gameplay mechanics showcases its strengths and very few weaknesses.
