We don’t regularly cover the casual puzzle, solitaire and hidden object genres, but Ocean Media has recently launched no less than five games that fit these genres for consoles, allowing us to check them out on a PlayStation 5. They’ve all been previously released on Steam, and offer a variety of experiences for fans. Destiny 2: The Final Shape review (PC)
Bungie’s latest expansion for Destiny 2, The Final Shape, adds another ambitious chapter in the long-running saga that started back in 2017, setting a high bar for the franchise’s eventual conclusion. The campaign thrusts players into a journey inside the Traveler, rallying the Vanguard against the formidable Witness. This narrative arc brings a satisfying closure to a few of the ongoing storylines (some of which have been running for a bit too long already), while simultaneously introducing new mysteries and challenges that set the scene for things to come. The Smurfs – Village Party by Microids, which was developed by Balio Studio, brings the beloved and iconic Smurfs into a party-game setting with an adventure twist on all current systems. The premise is straightforward and charming: Papa Smurf is organizing an epic party, and it’s up to the Smurfs to ensure everything goes smoothly while thwarting Gargamel’s plans to ruin the festivities.
