Jagged Alliance 3 review (PC)

Jagged Alliance 3, developed by Haemimont Games and published by THQ Nordic, brings the beloved franchise back to life with a new take on turn-based tactical combat. Set in the fictional nation of Grand Chien, players take on the role of mercenaries hired to rescue the kidnapped president and restore order to the country. The game offers a wide array of recruitable mercenaries, each with their own unique personalities, quirks, and skills, making for a diverse and entertaining cast of characters to accompany players on their journey. Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission VR review (Quest)

Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission VR brings back the nostalgic action rail shooter from the 80s and earlier 90s arcade era – and those gamers old enough to have seen it will remember it as “that cabinet with the machine gun mounted on it”. A classic from the time where rail shooters were 2D affairs with pixel-based visuals, years before Virtua Cop and House of the Dead. Developed by Virtuallyz and published by Microids, this VR adaptation aims to capture the essence of the original game while adding a fresh coat of paint. While it succeeds in delivering an enjoyable experience, it falls short in certain areas. We played it on a Meta Quest 2 – here’s our review. Testament: The Order of High Human review (PC)

Testament: The Order of High Human, developed and published by Fairyship Games, is an action-adventure RPG that was inspired by classic titles in the genre. Set in the land of Tessara, players assume the role of Aran, the fallen king of the High Humans, as he embarks on a journey to regain his powers and confront his treacherous brother, Arva. With a focus on combat, players can master swordplay, utilize magic abilities, and wield a magical bow to defeat enemies and explore the corrupted realms of Tessara.
