Indie Interviews: Foregone (Gamescom)
Big Blue Bubble’s upcoming 2D action-platformer Foregone was featured at Gamescom this past week as part of the Indie Arena Booth. Reminding us a bit of Castlevania and Dead Cells, we were eager to hear from the developers about what inspired them and how the game is progressing. Indie Interviews: Leif’s Adventure: Netherworld Hero (Gamescom)
We’re looking at another indie game that caught our eye during Gamescom, with a look at Leif’s Adventure: Netherworld Hero by OneManOnMars. We talked to Hamburg-based Roman Fuhrer, who after a career in AAA game development is now producing his Leif’s Adventure, an action adventure game that supports cooperative play in addition to its single player mode. Indie Interviews: Absolute Territory (Gamescom)
Gamescom may have wrapped up, but we still have a couple of interesting indie games to highlight for you. We’re continuing our series of Indie Interviews with a look at Absolute Territory: The Space Combat Simulator. Indie Interviews: Mad Experiments – Escape Room (Gamescom)
In recent years we’ve seen escape rooms pop up as a genre both in real life and in videogames. Mad Experiments: Escape Room is a new take from PlayTogether Studio that is now in Steam Early Access. It’s also part of this year’s digital edition of Gamescom and rather than offer the traditional single player experience it’s a game that’s being designed for one to up to six players at a time.
